Comment on the Kampuchea problem (review, Apr. 4) was fine but it was at best an outline of principles, an analysis of things as they should be not things as they are. Peking's leaders are pragmatists who know above all, that one does not pit principles against a blantant show of power and conditions in Kampuchea do not provide the basis for wholly political solution.
