Khut Chea is PTSD victim. She got married to Khen in 1966. Khen was ex-prisoner in Sang Prison. She has 4 sons, but two of them died because of sickness. Four of her siblings died in the Khmer Rouge regime. Her father called Khiev. Khiev died when Khut Chea was a very young girl. Her mother called Son died in 1973. Her husband was sent to kill in 1977. The chief of village wanted to kill Chea if she happened to miss her husband. Chea still denied that she had never missed her husband, so she could survive during that time. Chea got married to her second husband called Mei Chhim. Mei Chim was ex-Sang prisoner. In the Khmer Rouge regime, she was was lacking of food, water, medical care, and shelter. She got serious injury. She was in combat situation. She was brainwashed. She was forced to isolate from others. She was close to death. She was forced to separate from her family members. She saw the murder of her family or friend. She experienced the unnatural death of her family and friend. She was lost. She was tortured. She used to drown twice in 1979. She used to suffocate in 1979. She used to loose consciousness many times. Recently, she has recurrent thoughts of the most hurtful events. She feels as though the event is happening again. She has recurrent nightmares. She feels detached from people. She is unable to feel emotions. She is easily startled. She finds it is difficult to concentrate. She has trouble sleeping. She feels on guard. She is avoiding activities that remind her of the traumatic evens. She is less interest in her daily activities. She feels as if she does not have a future. She is avoiding thoughts associated with the traumatic events. She is sudden emotional. She feels that peole do not understand clearly what happened to her. She has difficulties in performing her daily tasks. She blames herself for things that have happened. She feels hopelessness. She feels ashamed of the hurtful events. She spends time thinking about why these events happened to her. She feels as if she is going crazy. She feels that she is the only one who suffered the events. She finds out by other people that she has done something that she cannot remember. She feels as if she split into two people and one of her is watching and the other is doing.
ឃុត ជាមានជំងឺបាក់ស្បាត។ គាត់រៀបការជាមួយខេននៅឆ្នាំ១៩៦៦។ ខេនជាអតីតអ្នកទោសគុកសង្ឃ។ ឃុត ជាមានកូនប្រុស៤នាក់ ប៉ុនែ្ដស្លាប់ពីរនាក់ដោយសារជំងឺ។ គាត់មានបងប្អូន៤នាក់ស្លាប់នៅសម័យខែ្មរក្រហម។ ឪពុករបស់គាត់ឈ្មោះខៀវស្លាប់កាលពីឃុត ជានៅពីកេ្មងម៉្លេះ។ ម្ដាយឈ្មោះសុនស្លាប់ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣។ ប្ដីរបស់ជាត្រូវគេយកទៅសម្លាប់នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧។ ប្រធានភូមិមានគោលបំណងយកជាទៅសម្លាប់ដោយសួរទទូចសារជានឹកប្ដីដែររឺអត់។ ក្រោយពីការបដិសេធជាច្រើនលើកថាជាមិនបាននឹកប្ដីរបស់ខ្លួន ទើបគាត់រស់រានមានជីវិតមកទល់សព្វថៃ្ងនេះ។ ជារៀបការប្ដីទីពីររបស់គាត់ឈ្មោះម៉ី ឆីម។ ម៉ី ឆីមជាអតីអ្នកទោសគុកសង់ដែរ។ នៅសម័យខែ្មរក្រហម គាត់ខ្វះខាតម្ហូបម្ហារ ទឹក ថ្នាំពេទ្យនិងជម្រកស្នាក់នៅ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ជាប់ឃុំឃាំង។ គាត់ធ្លាប់រងរបួសធ្ងន់។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ប្រយុទ្ធតស៊ូនៅក្នុងសមរភូមិ។ គាត់ត្រូវគេអប់រំអោយផ្លាស់ប្ដូរគំនិត។ គាត់ត្រូវគេបង្ខំអោយរស់ដាច់ដោយឡែកពីអ្នកដទៃ។ គាត់ជិតតែនឹងត្រូវស្លាប់ខ្លួន។ គាត់ត្រូវគេបំបែកចេញពីគ្រួសារដោយបង្ខំ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ឃើញឃាតកម្មនៃក្រុមគ្រួសាររឺមិត្ដភ័ក្រ្ដ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ឃើញការស្លាប់ខុសបែ្លកពីធម្មតានៃក្រុមគ្រួសាររបស់គាត់។ គាត់ធ្លាប់វងេ្វង។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ទទួលទារុណកម្ម។ គាត់ធ្លាប់លង់ទឹកពីរដងនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩។ គាតធ្លាប់ថប់ដង្ហើមនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩។ គាត់ធ្លាប់សន្លប់បាត់បង់ស្មារតីច្រើនដង។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វឱ្យនឹកឃើញដល់ព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដ៏ឈឺចាប់បំផុតរបស់គាត់។ គាត់គិតថាហាក់ដូចជាព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ទាំងនោះកំពុងតែកើតឡើងថ្មីៗ។ គាត់យល់សប្ដិអាក្រក់ជារឿយៗ។ គាត់គិតថាមិនចង់រវីរវល់ជាមួយអ្នកដទៃ។ គាត់ពុំអាចនឹងមានអារម្មណ៍អ្វីសោះ។ គាត់ឆាប់ភ្ញាក់ផ្អើល។ គាត់ពិបាកប្រមូលអារម្មណ៍គិតទៅលើអ្វីមួយ។ គាត់ពិបាកទទួលទានដំណេក។ គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វឱ្យប្រុងខ្លួនជានិច្ច។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងនូវសកម្មភាពណាដែលធើ្វឱ្យគាត់នឹកដល់ព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដរបស់គាត់។ គាត់ពុំសូវចាប់អារម្មណ៍នឹងសកម្មភាពរាល់ថៃ្ងរបស់គាត់។ គាត់គិតថាគាត់គ្មានថៃ្ងអនាគតទៅមុខទេ។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងមិនឱ្យគិតអំពីព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដ៏ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដរបស់គាត់។ គាត់បណ្ដាលអោយមានប្រតិកម្មក្នុងខ្លួនពេលនឹកឃើញដល់ព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដ៏គួរអោយឈឺចាប់របស់គាត់។ គាត់គិតថាអ្នកឯទៀតយល់ដឹងពុំច្បាស់លាស់ពីរឿងរ៉ាវដែលកើតមានចំពោះគាត់។ គាត់មានការលំបាកនៅក្នុងការបំពេញមុខងារផេ្សងៗប្រចាំថៃ្ងរបស់គាត់។ គាត់ស្ដីបន្ទោសខ្លួនឯងចំពោះរឿងរ៉ាវដែលបានកើតមានចំពោះគាត់។ គាត់មានអារម្មណ៍អស់សង្ឃឹម។ គាត់គិតថាគួរឱ្យអៀនខ្មាសអំពីព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដ៏ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដដែលកើតមានចំពោះគាត់។ គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វអោយចំណាយពេលគិតឆ្ងល់ថាហេតុអី្វហេតុការណ៍ទាំងនោះកើតមានចំពោះគាត់។ គាត់គិតថាហាក់ដូចជាចង់ឆ្កួត។ គាត់គិតថាមានតែគាត់ម្នាក់គត់ទទួលរងការឈឺចាប់ទាំងអស់នេះ។ គាត់បានដឹងឬអ្នកដទៃប្រាប់ថាគាត់បានធើ្វអី្វមួយដែលគាត់នឹកពុំឃើញសោះ។ គាត់គិតថាគាត់ហាក់ដូចជាត្រូវបានបំបែកខ្លួនជាពីរហើយអ្នកទីមួយកំពុងតាមដានពិនិត្យហើយអ្នកទី២កំពុងធើ្វ។
