A regiment of Vietnamese occupation troops was forced to pull out of its stronghold in Ampil Pram Dam, Bavil district, Battambang province on August 20, because the Kampuchean National Army and Guerrillas had cut off all its supply routes and wore down its effective strength , according to radio Democratic Kampuchea.
