United Nations, N.Y. - China has succeded in blocking a United Nations conference on Cambodia from placing obstacles in the way of a possible return to power by the deposed Pol Pot faction. A gathering of 92 nations on Friday ended its weeklong deliberations here with a declaration acknowledging that the Pol Pot group and other insurgent factions can keep their arms.
ទីក្រុងព៉ាូវយ៉ក-អង្គការសហប្រជាតិ-ប្រទេសចិនទទួលបានជោគជ័យក្នុងការ រារាំងការពិភាក្សារបស់អង្គការសហប្រជាតិស្ដីពីកម្ពុជា ពីការដាក់ឱ្យមានឧបសគ្គក្នុងការវិលត្រឡប់មកវិញនៃរបប ប៉ុល ពត។ ការប្រជុំ គ្នាជាង៩២ប្រទេសនាថ្ងៃសុក្រ បានសមេ្រចថាជាមួយ និង សេចកី្ដថ្លែងការណ៍ទទួលស្គាល់បក្សក្រុម ប៉ុល ពត និង អ្នកបដិវត្ដន៍ទៀត អាចរក្សាទុកអាវុធរបស់ពួកគេ។
