ឥឡូវនេះក្នុងពេលជាក់លាក់ថា កម្ពុជាជាប្រទេសមួយដែលមានការរងគ្រោះ ច្រើនជាងគេ និងចាប់ផ្ដើមទទួលរងទុក្ខវេទនាធំទីបួន ក្នុងរយៈពេល៦ឆ្នាំ។ ការអត់ឃ្លានត្រូវបានកើតឡើងម្ដងទៀត ដោយគំរាមគំហែងដល់ជីវិត ប្រជាជនខ្មែរ។
