High-level Thai security sources say more Thai 500 Vietnamese soldiers, most of them southerners, have deserted in Kampuchea and gone to Thailand since last June . Most of the deserters are said to be draffees who have no desire to fitght and are confused about why Vietnam is still in a virtual state of war.
ប្រភពថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំនៃមន្ដ្រីសន្ដិសុខថៃនិយាយថាទាហានវៀតណាម ៥០០នាក់ និងច្រើនជាងនេះនៅភាគខាងត្បូងបានរត់ចូលមកកម្ពុជានិងឆ្ពោះទៅប្រទេស ថៃចាប់តាំងពីខែមិថុនា មកមេ្ល៉ះ។ ទាហានទាំងនោះបាននិយាយថា ពួកគេគ្មានបំណងធ្វើឱ្យមានការច្របូកច្របល់អ្វីទេ អំពីហេតុអ្វី បានជាប្រទេសវៀតណាមនៅតែបន្ដជាប្រទេសមួយនៃសង្គ្រាម។
