The "Jungle Cathedrals" of Angkor, one of the architectural wonders of the world and the Symbol of Khmer Civilisation, are today threatended by slow death if there is no international help to resolve them. The temple site was closed in 1972 and has since fallen victim to the fortunes of war, looting and monsoon rains.
«ព្រះវិហារ»នៃអង្គរ,មួយក្នុងចំណោមស្ថាបក្យកម្មដ៏អស្ចារ្យនៃពិភពលោកនិង អត្ដសញ្ញាណជាតិខ្មែរគឺត្រូវការគំរាមគំហែងដល់ខេ្ទចនាពេលបច្ចុប្បន្ននេះ បើគ្មានជំនួយពីអន្ដរជាតិដើម្បីដោះស្រាយ។ ប្រាសាទនេះបានបិទនៅឆ្នាំ ១៩៧២ និងបានខូចខាតតាំងពីរមានសង្គ្រាម ការលួចយកនិង ភ្លៀងមូសុង។
