The Siem Reap front gives typical examples of the collapse of morale of Vietnamese troops who were frightened by the intensification of attacks staged by the National army and guerrillars of Democratic Kampuchea, and hopeless of their war of aggression which the defeat is ineluctable.
កម្លាំងជួរមុខខេត្ដសៀមរាបបានឱ្យដំណឹងពីការបាក់ទឹកចិត្ដនៃកងទ័ពវៀតណាម ដោយរងការវាយប្រហារយ៉ាងខ្លាំងពីសំណាក់កងទ័ពជាតិ និង កងទ័ពព្រៃរបស់កម្ពុជាប្រជាធិបតេយ្យ និង សង្ឃឹមជឿជាក់នឹងឈ្នះលើសង្គ្រាមឈ្លានពាននេះ។
