From 25 to 27 July 1982, Mr. Khieu Samphan and Mr. Nuon Chea accompanied by other personalities of Democratic Kampuchea, surveyed the Battambang front. They were enthusiastically welcomed by the population, cadres and combatants of the National Army and guerrillas of the region.
ចាប់ពីថ្ងៃទី២៥-២៧ កក្កដា ១៩៨២ លោក ខៀវ សំផន និង លោកនួន ជា បានអមដំណើរដោយមន្ដ្រីកម្ពុជាប្រជាធិបតេយ្យ បានស្ទាប់ស្ទង់មតិកងកម្លាំងក្រុងបាត់ដំបង។ ពួកលោកទាំងពីរត្រូវបានទទួលការស្វាគមន៍យ៉ាងសន្ទះសន្ទែងដោយប្រជាជន កម្មាភិបាល និង យុទ្ធជននៃកងទ័ពជាតិ និង កងទ័ពព្រៃនៃតំបន់។
