Vietnam's agreement on exploratory taks on Cambodia is not meeting with universal approval within the Asociation of South East Asian Nations. The proposed meeting of the two power blocks, Asean and the indo-chinese countries, results from a Malaysian suggestion but the secretary general of the Thai National Security Council has come out strongly against it.
