In the Khmer Rouge's time, my children were small and they both were sick without medical treatment so that I treated them with natural medicine. The food ration was insufficient. One can of rice mixing with water-lilies was cooked for eating. I stole piece of grinded rice to be cooked for my children.
ជីវិតក្នុងសម័យខ្មែរក្រហម កាលនោះកូនៗខ្ញុំនៅតូច ហើយឈឺទាំងពីរនាក់ ឈឺគ្មានថ្នាំព្យាបាល ខ្ញុំមានតែព្យាបាលតាមប្រើថ្នាំធម្មជាតិ។ កង្វះខាតម្ហូបអាហារ អង្ករមួយកំប៉ុង លាយប្រលិតធ្វើមិចឲ្យតែរស់។ ខ្ញុំបានលួចចុងអង្ករ ដើម្បីទុកដាំបាយឲ្យកូនហូប។
