Political consequences:The military offensive has definitaly underlined democratic Kampuchea's strong position within the coalition government. And thereby with the Kampuchean people. It has been shown that the coalitin brothery Son Sann and Sihanouk are dependent on the achievment of the DK in order themselves to be an alternative to the occupation forces.
