Notes: Interviewed with his younger sister named Mil Chantha, 55. Chantha told that Sovann continued to learn in Phnom Penh in 1966 or 1967. Later he returned home to ask for allowance from his parents to learn in Soviet Union because he won a scholarship. She never received information from Sovann since he learned to the second year. Old grand mother told her that Sovann died in Phnom Penh in 1979.
ប៊្គប៊្គអាយ០០៤៦ ២០០៦០៧១៩ ភូមិព្រែកតាតន់ ឃុំព្រែក ព្រះសេ្តច ស្រុកបាត់ដំបង ខេត្តបាត់ដំបង។ សម្ភាសដោយៈ សុខ វណ្ណៈ។ កំណត់សំគាល់ៈ សម្ភាសជាមួយប្អូនស្រី ម៉ិល ចាន់ថា អាយុ៥៥ឆ្នាំ។ ចាន់ថា បានប្រាប់ថានៅឆ្នាំ១៩៦៦ ឬ ១៩៦៧ គាត់បានបន្តការសិក្សានៅរៀននៅភ្នំពេញ។ ក្រោយ មកគាត់បានត្រឡប់មកស្រុកដើម្បីសុំការអនុញ្ញាតពីឪពុកម្តាយ ដើម្បីទៅរៀននៅសូវៀត ព្រោះគាត់បានជាប់អាហារូបករណ៍។ គាត់មិនដែលបានទទួលដំណឹងពី សុវណ្ណទេ ចាប់តាំងពីគាត់ទៅ រៀននៅទីនោះបានដល់ឆ្នាំទី២។ ក្រោយ១៩៧៩ មានយាយ ចាស់ម្នាក់បានប្រាប់គាត់ថា សុវណ្ណ បានស្លាប់នៅភ្នំពេញហើយ។
