Preap Kim Sorn aka Mann, commander of Battalion, Division 920, confessed that Khem, commander of Company, Division 920, entered the movement of the Free Khmer in 1970. In 1976, Khem linked the Free Khmer network with Mann. Mann named Khem his bodyguard during his trip to Vietnam in an effor to seek military aid from Vietnam. Mann ordered Khem to advise soldiers to do farm along the Vietnamese-Khmer border to prepare food in case of an unsuccessful attack on the revolution.
ឈ្មោះ ព្រាប គឹមស៊ន ហៅ ម៉ាន់ បញ្ជាការវរសេនាតូចកងពល ៩២០ បានឆ្លើយថាៈ ឈ្មោះ ខែម បញ្ជាការកងអនុសេនាអំ កងពល ៩២០ បានចូលបំរើក្នុងចលនាខ្មែរសេរីក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៧០។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៦ ខែម បានទាក់ទងភ្ជាប់ខ្សែខ្មែរសេរីជាមួយម៉ាន់ ហើយម៉ាន់យកខែមធ្វើកងការពារក្នុងពេលធ្វើដំណើរទៅទាក់ទង សុំជំនួយអាវុធពីវៀតណាម។ ម៉ាន់ បានចាត់តាំងឱ្យខែមណែនាំ យុទ្ធជនទៅធ្វើស្រែនៅព្រំដែនខ្មែរ-វៀតណាម ដើម្បីត្រៀមស្បៀង ពេលណាប្រយុទ្ធចាញ់បដិវត្ដគឺមានស្បៀងបង្អែកជាសេ្រច។
