Van Dong, seemed to be hinting that Vietnam is wearying of being in Kampuchea. He said that a political solution may come "erlier that expected". But Mr. Son Sann, prime minister of the resistance coalition took a gloomy view of the futrue when he spoke in London on November 6th. Vietnam is trying to colonise Kampuchea with its own people, he said, bringing in more than 700,000 Vietnamese, many of whom marry Kampucheans. Soon, according to Mr. Son Sann, nobody will know who is Vietnamese and who is Kampuchean.
