Praing said that he was first sent to be trained military technique at Rorluos. Then he was transferred to station in Phnom Penh and clean the city. In 1977, he was moved to grow rice at national road 3 after Oeun was arrested. Later his division was transferred to work in Kampong Chhnang airport. In 1979, he returned home.
