Summary / Abstract :
On 22 February 1988, in Geneva, the United Nations commission on Human Rights, at its 44th session, overwhelmingly adopted, by a vote of 31 in favour of 7 against with 3 abstentions, a resolution by which the commission condemns the continuance of the Vietnamese occupation of Kampuchea, which deprives the Kampuchean people of their right to self determination and constitutes the voilation of human right in Kamuchea. The commission on Human Rights comprises 43 member states of the United Nations.
