A major conference on Cambodia was convened by Save Cambodia, Inc on capital hill at the senate caucus room in the Russell Senate office Building, on April 15, 1983. The keynotes address was delivered by senator Robert Dole. Vice president George Bush sent his statement of support and sugestions, senator Edward Kenedy sent Mr. Jerry Tinker to deliver a moving message while senator Richard Lugar made public a resolution which he concurrently introduced on the floor of the US senate, condemning the Vietnamese attacks on Khmer refugee camps
