Summary / Abstract :

The prosecution in the first tribunal of the special court trying the "gang of four " and other members of the "Lin Biao and Jiang Qing cliques" charged yesterday [5th December ] that in order to fame Lia Shaoqi, the late chairman of the PRC as a "renegade", Jiang Qing had , on 10th May 1967, approved the arrest of three innocent people who were later fortured to make confessions and persecuted to death.
