Summary / Abstract :

Organisaed in 1979 and unveiled only in 1981 the PRK party has no tradition of organised struggles for power. It is the organisational instrument of about 50 cadres who received extensive political and techinical training in Veitnam between 1954 and 1970 and who rely upon large corps of ex-khmer rouges cadres and noncommunist functionaries to staff their administration.
