Hanoi is moving its reluctant Khmer battalians up into frontlines positions in greater numbers than ever before. This strategy has been clubbed by some analysts the "Khmerization of the war in Cambodia. In recent months, thousands of ill-trained Khmer soldiers have been confronted with the reality of the front line combat- and the alterative of the short walk to which a Khmer nationalist resistance is assiduously inciting them.
