Em Sarin, male, 66 years old and lives Trapeang Prasat village, Trapeang Prasat commune, trapeang Prasat district, Oddar Meanchey province. Currently, Sarin is a chief of Trapeang Prasat district council.
Sarin was born in Sanlong village, Prey Sa-aoch commune, Treang district, Takeo province. Sarin volunteered to join the KR movement on April 25, 1970. First, Sarin was a messenger of Angkor Chey district៌s chief. In 1971, Sarin served as a solder of Battalion 13, Region 13. In 1976, the KR sent Sarin to protect Cambodia €“ Vietnam border between Bakk Day, Phnom Din and Tonle Basac. In early 1977, Ta Mok called Sarin to assist Moeun who was a chief Region 505. Sarin was a member committee of Region 505. Sarin was also in charge of the Region៌s office. When the Vietnamese arrived in Cambodia in January 1979, Sarin and other fled to Phnom Chi and he climbed Dangrek Mountain, Mom Bei [KR military Base 1001]. Aftermath, Sarin was in Division 920. He supervised soldier៌s families in the base 1001. After 1990 Ta Mok created as Trapeang Prasat district and Sarin was assigned to be deputy chief of the district. |
