Practising the treaty on December 27, 1985 Khmer-Vietnam, Collective Delegation consented to examine the location and situation of islands in Cambodia-Vietnam sea by Bie Dong sciense research ship of friend party. Among those islands, Poulevai island was also included. The examination aimed at understanding the location situation and the sea depth in the purpose of convenient shipping and ocean border detemining.
ក្នុងការអនុវត្ដសន្ធិសញ្ញាថ្ងៃទី ២៧-ធ្នូ-១៩៨៥ គណៈប្រតិភូចម្រុះ ត្រួតពិនិត្យកម្ពុជា-វៀតណាម បានឯកភាព និងចុះទៅត្រួតពិនិត្យទីតាំង និងស្ថានភាពកោះនានានៅដែនទឹកសមុទ្រ កម្ពុជា-វៀតណាម ដោយនាវាស្រាវជ្រាវវិទ្យាសាស្ដ្រ បៀរដុង របស់ភាគីមិត្ដ។ ក្នុងបណ្ដាកោះទាំងនោះរួមមាន កោះប៉ូលូវ៉ៃដែរ សំដៅស្វែងយល់ ស្ថានភាពទីតាំង និងជ្រលងជំរៅទឹក សម្រាប់ធានាការងាយស្រួល ដល់ការធ្វើនាវាចរ និងធ្វើកំណត់ព្រំដែនសមុទ្រផង។
