Bun Pin, male, 58 years old and lives in Tumnop Dach village Tumnop Dach commune, Trapeang Prasat district, Oddar Meanchey province. Currently, Pin is a member of Trapeang Prasat district council. Pin was born to Mr. Bun Peou and Mrs Buoy Thann in Kdam Pok village, Reach Sena Odam commune, Preah Sdach district, Prey Veng province. Pin is seventh in his family. Pin studied grade 8 (old system) in Wat Serei Daun Sdaeng Primary School. Pin quitted from the school after coup d៌état in 1970. In 1971, Pin joined the KR movement through his cousin Bun Pom, and then Pin served as a soldier of Region 24. Chhouk was a chief the region and [Ta] Chey was a head of the region after Chhouk was arrested by the KR. Pin was in a Battalion of Bun Pom. In 1978, the KR created a new division and it was called Division 805. Houy and Sok Sen were chief and deputy chief of the division. The division operated along Cambodia €“Vietnam border between Kampong Trabek and Preah Sdach districts of Prey Veng province. When the Vietnamese arrived in Cambodia in 1979, Pin fled to Cambodia-Thailand border. First, Pin joined KR division 519. The division was at Chamkar Kor within Svay Chek district, Banteay Meanchey province. Yorn and Dul Saroeun were chief and deputy chief of the division. Also in 1980, Pin married to his wife. In 1983, Pin was in Ta Ngoc (Side 8) refugee camp in Thailand territory. [Ta] Sok was chief of the camp. In 1984, [Ta] Mok ordered to take Pin and other who originally came from Prey Veng; and Svay Rieng provinces to O-Trav refugee camp. There, he joined Division 801. Pin was among 170 soldiers of Independent Regiment 6 of Division 801. In 1985, the KR assigned Pin and other to operate in Kampong Cham province for almost three years. In 1988, Pin returned [1003] at Dangrek Mountain. Pin and his family went down to live in Tomnop Dach when the KR took over Anlong Veng and Trapeang prasat areas in 1990.
