Orn was born in Tomnop village, Sraeng commune, Prasat Sambo district, Kampong Thom province. Orn៌s father is Tuon and his mother, Nhoek Hean. Orn has three sisters and one brother. Orn just went to school only one month when he was young because the coup d៌état in 1970. After then, Orn stayed with a Buddhist monk for several months and he returned home to help his parents in rice field. In 1975, Orn was in a cooperative as the same other people. We have observed that Orn has seemed to be fear to talk about his experience and he has tried to hide his biography during the KR regime. Orn married to his wife in 1982. In 1984, went to forest and reunited with KR. Orn was in Regiment of [Ta] Pin within Division 802. [Ta] Chhan was a chief of the division. In 1985, Orn climbed up Dangrek Mountain at Kor 7 for three months and then he returned Kampong Thom province. In 1987, Orn took his wife to Kor 7. In 1990, Orn and his family went down to live in Anlong Veng area and moved to live in Tuol Prasat village in 1998. It was one year before the KR integrated with the Cambodian government. |
