In 1971, Ly Bun Soeun, a C.I.A agent, confessed that Sry, living in Peam Khnong Village, Peam Sub-district, Prey Chhor District, Region 42, was a guerrilla at Malai mountain. In August 1975, Chhay Meng Huot, lieutenant colonel, was a guerrilla chief at Malai mountain. Meng Huot dispatched Sry to infiltrate into Region 42 to spy out information from the revolutionary army and to spread a provocativecampaign aimed at bringing disintegration between people and the revolutionary cadres.
ឈ្មោះ លី ប៊ុនសឿន សេអ៊ីអានៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ ឆ្លើយពីឈ្មោះ ស្រ៉ី នៅភូមិពាមក្នុង ឃុំពាម ស្រុកព្រៃឈរ តំបន់ ៤២ ថា ស្រ៉ីជាចោរ ព្រៃនៅភ្នំម៉ាឡៃ។ នៅខែ៨-១៩៧៥ ឈ្មោះ ឆាយ ម៉េងហួត សល្ដិ៥ ជាមេចោរព្រៃនៅភ្នំម៉ាឡៃ បានចាត់តាំង ស្រ៉ី ឱ្យទៅបង្កប់ ខ្លួននៅតំបន់៤២ ដើម្បីស៊ើបការណ៍ពីកងទ័ពបដិវត្ដ និងឃោសនា បំបែកបំបាក់ប្រជាជននិងកម្មាភិបាលបដិវត្ដជាមួយវា។
