Summary / Abstract :

Cambodia announced it was temporily breaking off diplomatic relations with Vietnam yesterday and accused its Communist neighbour of sending thousand of troops and hundreds of tanks to plunder its rice crop and destroy the Cambodia Economy. The sudden upsurge of border fighting dealt a shattering blow to the of unity in communist Indochina less than three years after their forces drove out the Americans.
