Summary / Abstract :

In August 1978 I travelled around Kampucheas, the country formerly known as Cambodia, as a member of a four-man delegation. For two weeks we travelled 13000 kilometres through the country which the western press has called "a hell on eath". There have been few western visitors to Kampuchea and we were the first Swedish, with the exception of some diplomatics, to visit the country since hostilities ended on April 17, 1975.
