Summary / Abstract :

Of late, there have been groundless reports in the media saying that "The Khmer Rouge is taking secret steps to retake power in Kampuchea." The term "Khmer Rouge" has been used to designate Democratic Kampuchea. We would like to recall its past, present and future stance as follow: As a partner of the tripartite Coalition Government of Democratic Kampuchea (CGDK) which was formed in accordance with the Kuala Lumpur declaration of 22 June 1982.
