Two of my uncles were killed by the KR:
In 1975, my uncle, Yos Un who used to work at a prison in Battambang Province before the KR came to power, was transferred by car to Peakk Sbek Village, Snoeng Commune, Banun District, Battambang Province. There, he was shot dead. We were not allowed to bury his body, which was being disturbed by wild animals. My father, who is now deceased, witnessed the killing of Uncle Yos Un, but he could do nothing to help my uncle. In 1978, my other uncle was killed by a KR soldier at Koh Krala Village, Koh Krala Commune, Battbambang Province. Ms. Nak En witnessed this killing. She is now living in Koh Krala Village, Koh Krala Commune, Battambang Province. |
