The use money resumed on a miniature scale in Cambodia this week for the first time since the communist seized power nearly four years ago. The Cambodian unit of currency the riel, was withdrawn from circulation that the time of the fall of Lon Nol's VS supported regime in April 1975. Since then, money has been replaced by a barter system.
