Cambodians may be threatened with virtual extinction as a people according to a study by the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Cambodian society will need decades to come back, if it survives at all. In addition to deaths from neutral cause 50.000 to 100.000 former, military, teacher, educated people may have been excuted.
