Fighting spread in the guft to Thailand as Vietnamese led forces fought against units loyal to Pol Pot, for control to Koh Kong island off the west Cambodia coast, Thai Nayy source said. The fighting on Koh Kong was reported admid indication that the new Hanoi backed administration in Phnom Penh is meeting resistance in its attemp to extend control in Cambodia.
