Khiev Samphan, leader of the Chinese backed Khmer Rouge administration, predicted that Vietnamese led forces in Kampuchea would go all out to destroy his guerrilla fighters before the dry season ends in two months. His Khmer Rouge forces would continue fighting until all Vietnamese troops had been forced out of Kampuchea.
