This port on the Gulf of Siam, the principal point of entry for food relief for a famished country, is seriously congrested with ships that have waited for weeks to be unloaded. Once ashore, the food, mainly rice goes into nearly full warehouses and is distributed to the provinces exceedingly slowly.
