Ediately after crossing Kampuchea from Vietnam's province, the ravages four year's rule by the Khmer Rouges. As son as the Pol Pot, Ieng Sary regime, was over thrown the new government decrced that eveyone was free to leave the concentration ''communes'' reunite wich what was left of their families and return to their native villages.
