Prince Sihanouk Cambodia's former chief of state say that his talks last week with Khieu Samphan, the political leader of the Khmer Rouge forces, convinced him that there was no hope of foreign an alliance against the Vietnamese occupation of Cambodia. Norodom Sihanouk could not form an anti-Vietnamese united front with the Khmer Rouge because they reject his proposal for a UN peace keeping force in Kampuchea.
