A senior Vietnamese Communist official interview by a polish newspaper has depicted his country with unusual condor as one beset by grave military, economic and politcal problems. Vietnam was threatened directly by China, which is supported by the US. The external threat is matched inside the country by supportors of the former South Vietnamese regime which was de feated seven years ago.
