He got married to Nhoek Yan in 1965. He has 10 children, but 6 of them died in the Khmer Rouge regime. His father died in 1972 and his mother died in 1976. His father died because of sickness while his mother died because of starvation. He used to loose consciousness for 4 times. Recently, he feels as if the event is happening again. He had trouble with sleeping. He feels on guard. He find it is difficult to perform his daily tasks. He blames himself of what have happened. He feels that he was the only who suffer from the events.
គាត់រៀបការជាមួយ ញឹក យ៉ាន នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៦៥។ គាត់មានកូន១០នាក់ ប៉ុនែ្ដ៦នាក់ស្លាប់នៅសម័យខែ្មរក្រហម។ ឪពុករបស់គាត់ស្លាប់នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ ហើយម្ដាយរបស់គាត់ស្លាប់នៅក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៧៦។ ឪពុកគាត់ស្លាប់ដោយសារជំងឺ ម្ដាយរបស់គាត់ស្លាប់ដោយការអត់ឃ្លាន។ គាត់ធ្លាប់សន្លប់ចំនួន៤ដង។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន គាត់មានអារម្មណ៍ថាហេតុការណ៍ដែលគាត់ជួបប្រទះទើបតែកើតឡើងសារជាថ្មី។ គាត់ពិបាកទទួលទានដំណេក ហើយមានអារម្មណ៍ចេះតែប្រុងខ្លួនជានិច្ច។ គាត់មានការលំបាកក្នុងការបំពេញមុខងារប្រចាំថៃ្ងរបស់គាត់។ គាត់ស្ដីបន្ទោសខ្លួនឯងរឿងដែលបានកើតឡើង។ គាត់មានអារម្មណ៍ថាមានតែគាត់ម្នាក់ដែលទទួលរងការឈឺចាប់។
