On March, when the launched their a attcks against Cambodian resistance force at Ta Tum, about 1,000 Vietnamese soldiers intruded 3km into Thai territory and attacked Thai postition in an attempt to control 3 strategics hills along the Thai border, in order to attack Ta Tum's base from the rear.
