About 15,000 Vietnamese soldiers pulled out of Kampuchea in carefully stayed ecremonies in the capital Phnom Penh, and in the Northeast town of Stung Treng. Military source described the pull out as a withdrwal, but western diplomated have described similar excercise in the past as routine troops rotations.
