Um Soeun, working at Battalion 124, Regiment 153, Division 502, confessed that Sem, working at Company Politics, Battalion 124, Regiment 153, Division 502, was under his control. Sem bore the responsibility for persuading soldiers to defect from their lines and hate the revolutionary regime and being lazy working. The scheduled demonstration was supposed to enter Phnom Penh on November 1, 1975; moreover, Sem was in charge of protecting the march.
