My name is Yuos Saroeun. I currently live in Chambak Trap Village, Prek Roka Commune, Kandal Stung District, Kandal Province.
Lost of elder brother, Yuos Prim, who was killed by the Khmer Rouge: During the 12th lunar month of 1977, my elder brother, Prim, was arrested and held for execution by the Khmer Rouge at La-ngeun Secondary School in Kandaeng Reay Commune, Kanh Cheach District, Prey Veng Province. The Khmer Rouge arrested him while he was working on the rubber plantation at Pean Chunh Cheang, in Koh Sotin District of Kampong Cham Province. I don’t know the name of the person who captured my elder brother. The Khmer Rouge killed him because he was accused of being affiliated with the Vietnamese. I learned this story from my elder sister, Nhik Rim. |
