Seng Veng joined the CIA in 1969 and was captured by the Angkar on January 12, 1976. He confessed that Chey Sophan, 33 years old, joined the CIA in 1973, the Party of Socialist Republic, and the World Vision through San That. After April 17, 1975, Sophan linked CIA network with Seng Veng and convinced former workers to think of the collective problem, freedom of movement and food regime.
ឈ្មោះ សេង វេង ចូលសេអ៊ីអានៅឆ្នាំ១៩៦៩ ហើយត្រូវបាន ចាប់ខ្លួននៅថ្ងៃ១២-១-១៩៧៦ បានឆ្លើយសារភាពថាៈ ឈ្មោះ ជៃ សូផុន អាយុ ៣៣ ឆ្នាំ ចូលសេអ៊ីអានៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣, ចូលគណបក្ស សង្គមសាធារណរដ្ឋ និង ចូលអង្គការទស្សនៈពិភពលោកតាមរយៈ សន ថាត។ ក្រោយថ្ងៃ១៧-៤-១៩៧៥ សូផុន ភ្ជាប់ខ្សែសេអ៊ីអា ជាមួយសេង វេង ហើយបានឃោសនាបំផុសកម្មករចាស់ពីបញ្ហា សមូហភាព សិទ្ធសេរីភាពដើរហើរនិងស៊ីចុកជាដើម។
