Yuos Chhit aka Chum, commissioner of battalion 232, regiment 23, division 290, confessed that in 1967, Chakrei introduced Nung Sam An to serve in Free Khmer movement. Later, Nut Sam An became a subordinate of Pol Thoeun, because Thoeun assigned Sam An to persuade people to disgust the revolutionary regime and to convince people to go against the local authority; moreover, Chum did not clarify Sam An's activity.
យស់ ឈិត ហៅ ជុំ ស្នងការវរសេនាតូច២៣២ វរសេនាធំ២៣ កងពល២៩០ បាននិយាយថា នុត សំអាន ចូលខ្មែរសេរីឆ្នាំ១៩៦៧ ដែលមានចក្រី ជាអ្នកបញ្ចូល។ ក្រោយមក នុត សំអាន ស្ថិតក្រោម ការគ្រប់គ្រងរបស់ ប៉ុល ធឿន ដោយអោយបំផុសយុទ្ធជនអោយ ស្អប់របបបដិវត្ដ បំផុសប្រជាជនអោយ ប្រឆាំងរដ្ឋអំណាចមូលដ្ឋាន។ ក្រៅពីនេះ ជុំ ក្ដាប់មិនបាន។
