The UN General Assembly voted 117 to 21 on its annual resolution demanding Vietnamese troop withdrawal from Cambodia. The vote was a record high since the assembly began debating the issue in 1979 following the Vietnam invasion, despite the intensive Hanoi "peace Campaign" and the confusion over Prince Norodom Sihanouk "leave" as head of the anti- Vietnamese Cambodian coalition.
