Vietnam wants to involve Britain in an international peace conference aimed at ending the nine year old war in Kampuchea. In a rare interview Nguyen Co Thach, Vietnam's Foreign Minister, He paid out that, as a member of the UN security council, Britain had twice acted as co-chairman of international peace conference in Indochina once after the French withdrawal in 1954, and again when it co-chaired the Laos peace talks in the 1960.
