Summary / Abstract :
|
The bell ring at 7:00 am, at the Chakdomouk school in Phnom Penh as the first shift of boys and girls arrive for classes. The 4000 students who attend primary and secondary school must do so in turns because nearly 6000 schools were destroyed by rampaging soldiers during the four-year reign of terror under the Pol Pot regime.
