If indeed, as said by Lt. Gen Le Khai Phieu, 15,000 men died during the first three years of the war from 1979, until the end of 1981, this amounts to a monthly loss of an average of 416 soldiers. From 1982 until now, 10,000 more Bo Doi lost their lives in Kampuchea, a monthly average of 111 deaths.
