One diplomat described it as a statesmanlike compromise satisfying radicals and conservatives alike. A split on Kampuchea was avoided -- there was no blood - letting at the conference, said an Asian diplomat. The sources said the plan brokered by Zimbabwe would enlarge the existing Non-Aligned committee of six members to 12, bringing in Singapore and Malaysia.
